There was much buzz in the polish world when it was discovered that the rumor was true- China Glaze really
was re-releasing their OMG collection! For the ten year anniversary of the famous holographic collection, China Glaze repromoted six polishes from it. Since I was not into nail polish back in 2008, I was glad for this "second chance" since the older polishes go for a lot on eBay. I've managed to get most of the collection so far, including today's DV8.

The holo caps are a great touch! |
DV8 is a teal linear holographic. It is a rare one coat wonder, provided you are careful while applying. If the brush touches the wet polish on your nail, it may pull it up and create a bald spot. The formula self levels like a champ, however.

A lot of people like their holo to be super vibrant, but sometimes that means that the holo overtakes the base color. Yes, there are rainbows on my nails, but I also wanted my nails to be blue, y'know? The OMG collection linears are much more "fluid." Think of an oil slick. It's not *pow* in your face, but it's definitely present, especially in the sun. It's a nice change of pace.

You can still find the OMG collection at beauty retailers such as Sally's. You just might have to look in clearance.
