It's been a hard day for me. Personal issues. One of the only bright things in my life today was the color on my nails- Femme Fatale Flamingo Feather.

Flamingo Feather is one part of the Animal Lovers trio that
iLaeti created as a blogger collaboration with Femme Fatale last year. This animal lover approves of this theme. Normally when one thinks of flamingos they think pink. That's not the case here. It is officially described as "coral, rather rosy, base, but its gilded powder makes it take a more orange tinge. Its particles and holographic microglitters are subtle, but make it shiny nicely." In some light, especially indoors, it appears more orange. Sometimes holo dulls completely in indoor light but I still get a good bit of effect even inside.

Formula is the typical FF one. I don't get flooding and the brush distributes paint well. I did need three coats but my first coat was also very thin. First coat was very sheer. Second coat would've sufficed but I had just enough VNL that I applied the third.

My favorite color is blue, but I love wearing orange. It is so cheery without potentially hurting your eyes like yellow can do. This is definitely a "happy" color, and one I needed today.
