Femme Fatale Fields of Treasure

If I had to choose my absolute favorite brand, Femme Fatale is my immediate thought. Sophie (the owner) crafts amazing polishes that can be perfectly described as works of art. Their polishes used to be difficult to get since they're based in Australia but I've never regretted the wait time to get these.

It's supposed to be raining on and off for the next couple of days so I decided to go with an old and trusted shade from FF. After looking over my stash, I decided on Fields of Treasure.
Femme Fatale Fields of Treasure

Fields of Treasure was from the 2016 After-Light Gala collection themed around carnivals and masquerades. It's officially described as a "pale pistachio green creme with violet sheen and fine silver holographic glitters," but I personally think it's closer to a spring green. The violet glow really adds character and beauty to the polish. You absolutely must use top coat here since it'll bring out not only the holo glitters but also that violet sheen.

As you can see from the brush shot, it is very sheer. It takes three coats for me to achieve opacity. That is what I show above with topcoat. Honestly, I'm not too bothered with it requiring that many coats. If it was a creme I'd be irked, but it needs to be sheer enough to let that beautiful glow flow through. The effort's worth it here.
Femme Fatale Fields of Treasure vs Morning Glory
One of the reasons why I adore Femme Fatale is that so many of the polishes are quite unique. The closest polish I have to a dupe of this isn't a dupe in the slightest. Morning Glory (the January 2016 COTM) is more yellow toned and has a blue shimmer. Both beautiful, but totally different. (And that explains why I have so many Femmes, lol.)

You can buy Femme Fatale polishes on their website or at online stockists worldwide such as Shiro, Hypnotic Polish, and Beautometry.
